Course
The race starts at the far west point of the Fort Morgan Peninsula; participants must walk one mile to the official start. The route follows the contiguous stretch of Alabama gulf coast and finishes at the Florida State Line near the Flora-Bama venue. The official route stays within the mean tidal range of the beach. There are six aid stations and three restroom locations. Two bridge crossings are mandatory and marked; participants are not allowed to swim the gaps and may only leave the sand at those bridge locations.
