Founders Day Fun Run

The Founders Day Fun Run is a community event held at Buddy Campbell City Park in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. It features multiple race options including a 5k Individual, Couple, and Family Run, as well as a 1-mile run suitable for families. The 5k course is an out-and-back route along Maughan Road, characterized by gentle rolling hills and curves, with a turnaround at Merrick Road.

Additionally, the event includes a Pickle Ball Charity Challenge played on six courts at the park, with indoor backup in case of bad weather. Proceeds support the Greater Lava Hot Springs Prosperity Foundation, promoting arts, culture, and youth music scholarships in the region.
