Event details
The Four Ring Circus Beer Mile takes place during GO Fest on October 17, 2025, at Elmwood Amphitheater, 706 South Jefferson St., Roanoke, VA 24011. The event is a team beer-mile relay that winds through the festival and consists of four laps. Prizes will be awarded for best team costume; the event theme is Four Ring Circus.
Rules and registration
Teams are limited to 25 entries and registration closes October 16, 2025. The entry fee is $50 per team (up to four members). Teams must have at least three members to participate on race day and may have up to four members. All participants must be 21 or older and show proof of age to obtain an ID band before the event.
Relay rules require each team member to consume a beverage before starting their lap, alternate on each lap, and be tagged by the preceding teammate on laps 2, 3, and 4. Empty containers must be placed in trash. Unnecessary contact with other participants may result in disqualification. Captains set up teams with a password and pay the team fee; captains can add or remove members until registration ends. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
