The Fox Valley Winter Challenge Trail Series 10K takes place on March 22, 2026 in St. Charles, IL. The event is held at Hickory Knolls Discovery Center, 3795 Campton Hills Dr., St. Charles, IL 60175. Distances in the series include:

- 10K
A bundle option is offered for 2 to 3 races with a $5 discount per event. The standalone entry fee for the 10K is $45. The price increases after February 1, 2026 at 11:59pm CST. The series lists the 5K in Batavia and the 8K in Aurora on earlier dates.
Course and awards
The 10K course uses mixed trail surfaces: dirt paths and crushed limestone. The route includes a few short climbs and longer sections that test pacing. Trail conditions are described as variable - they could be slick, muddy, or fast depending on weather. The event is USATF sanctioned.
All finishers receive a finisher medal and winter swag. Participants who complete all three races in the Winter Challenge Trail Series receive additional bonus gear and a completed medal set.
