About the race
Fredericksburg Blue and Gray Half Marathon takes place in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with the start and finish at Old Mill Park along the Rappahannock River. The USATF-certified half marathon follows a wide, paved route through downtown and residential Fredericksburg, largely flat with one long uphill around mile 5 and a downhill at mile 9. Now in its 25th year, the December tradition offers finisher medals and a long-sleeve technical shirt for those registering by the cutoff, plus a cash awards structure for top finishers and a course-record bonus.
