Fredericksburg Blue and Gray Half Marathon
The Fredericksburg Blue and Gray Half Marathon, celebrating its 25th anniversary, takes place in historic Fredericksburg, Virginia, along the scenic banks of the Rappahannock River. This USATF certified half marathon features a mostly flat course with a notable uphill section around mile 5 and a downhill near mile 9, running primarily on a wide paved path through residential areas. Participants receive a long-sleeve technical race shirt (if registered early) and a finisher's medal.
The event offers cash prizes for top finishers and age group awards. Aid stations and porta potties are strategically placed along the route. Dogs and strollers are not allowed, and there is a 3.5-hour time limit to complete the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
