Freedom 10K Celebration

The Freedom 5K Celebration at Independence Bank in Paducah, Kentucky, is an annual event held on July 4th that offers a festive and family-friendly atmosphere to kick off Independence Day. Participants can choose from three divisions: a 5K run, walk, or ruck (carrying a weighted vest or pack). The course starts and finishes near Independence Bank in Midtown Paducah, featuring a scenic route through local streets including Jefferson, 17th, Madison, and Fountain avenues.

All participants receive patriotic race gear, and awards are given for overall and age group winners in the run and ruck categories. Proceeds support the Wounded Warrior Project, benefiting wounded veterans. The event is rain or shine, promoting health and community spirit.
