Freedom Fest

The Freedom Fest 5k is an annual running event held on July 4th at the Checotah Sports Complex in Checotah, Oklahoma. Featuring a USATF Certified Course, the event includes a 5k race and a Fun Run, both starting early in the morning. Hosted by the City of Checotah Parks and Recreation Department, the race kicks off a day of festivities that culminate with evening fireworks.

Participants who register by June 25th receive a commemorative T-shirt. Race timing and awards are managed by I:40 Race Service, making it a well-organized celebration of fun, fitness, and freedom on Independence Day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
