Freedom for Fighters Event to End Silent Suffering

Registration

The Freedom for Fighters 8th Annual Event to End Silent Suffering is a meaningful running event held in Mountain Home, Idaho, aimed at raising awareness and support for individuals battling PTSD and depression. Participants can choose between a 5K or a 7-mile walk/run, where they carry backpacks filled with canned goods to symbolize the burdens of those suffering in silence. Throughout the race, participants will unload these weights at designated checkpoints, culminating in a celebratory finish line experience.

Proceeds from the event will benefit local charities and contribute to the future establishment of a healing ranch for those in need. A virtual option is also available for broader participation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
