Event overview
The Freedom Run is held over the July holiday period in 2026 in De Forest, WI. The event includes multiple race options and a virtual option. Proceeds are donated to the DeForest Area Needs Network and the DeForest Area High School track and cross country programs.

Logistics and registration
The event takes place at Fireman's Park in De Forest, WI 53532. Online registration opens March 1, 2026 and is available through Wednesday, July 1, 2026. In-person packet pick up and day-of registration are available at DeForest Area High School stadium entrance and at Fireman's Park.
Entry fees listed on the event page include: One Mile $17.50, 5K $35, 10K $35, and Virtual 5K/10K $25. Race maps for the 10K, 5K, and One Mile courses are available as downloadable PDFs.
