Friends 10K

The Friends 10K - 5K and Fun Run/Walk is held annually in Cunningham Falls State Park, Thurmont, Maryland. The event features a paved, rolling 5K course with scenic fall colors and a notable hill, while the 10K is a challenging double-loop of the 5K route. Additionally, there is a family-friendly, untimed 1.4-mile Fun Run/Walk on paved paths.

The race takes place in the William Houck (Lake) Area of the park, offering crisp autumn air and beautiful natural surroundings. Proceeds support the Friends of Cunningham Falls and Gambrill State Parks, enhancing recreational programs and facilities. Registration closes the day before the race, with no race-day sign-ups.
