Friends 10K

The Friends 10K - 5K and Fun Run/Walk is held annually in Cunningham Falls State Park, Thurmont, Maryland. The event features a paved, rolling 5K course with scenic fall foliage and a challenging 10K that is a double-loop of the 5K route, both offering crisp autumn air and hilly terrain. Additionally, there is a family-friendly, untimed 1.4-mile Fun Run/Walk on paved paths.

The race takes place in the William Houck (Lake) Area of the park, providing a beautiful natural setting. Proceeds support the Friends of Cunningham Falls and Gambrill State Parks, a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing park programs and recreation.
