About the race
Join the fourth annual Friends 5K Run/Walk at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center campus in Newark, Delaware. This fundraising event supports bench-to-bedside translational cancer research, accelerating discoveries from labs to trials.
The 5K course is on the Graham Cancer Center campus (course map available). Participants enjoy finish-line refreshments, a race T-shirt, face painting, and a photo booth, with competitive awards for masters, overall winners, and age groups. A largest-team prize—an Empanadas party for 25—adds a festive twist.
Bib pickup and registration are on race day at the Graham Center. Proceeds support patient care initiatives and cancer research programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
