Friends of Government Canyon Recharge Run 15K

The Friends of Government Canyon Recharge Run is an annual trail-running fundraiser held at Government Canyon State Natural Area near San Antonio, Texas. The event features a 15K and an 8K race, plus a virtual option for remote runners. In-person participants enjoy a chip-timed course with a single mid-race aid station, a start/finish near the pavilion, and a post-race celebration at the Picnic Pavilion.

The event marks Government Canyon’s 20th anniversary and invites runners to “recharge” among trails once trodden by dinosaurs like Acrocanthosaurus and Sauroposeidon.
