Race features and awards
The course runs on paved roads through the Wrightwood community and is described as stroller-friendly with hills. The 5K course includes themed, costumed characters placed along the route; those characters are not present on the Mini Monster Mile or Drac Dash children's courses. Event services include a safety team, volunteers, event t-shirts, and photo opportunities.
Net proceeds are donated to Wrightwood CERT, the Serrano High School Drama Department, and Wrightwood Elementary School's Raccoon Running Club. Awards for the 5K include first through third place, overall male and female winners, and age-group awards for 5-10, 11-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and over 60 (male and female).
