Frio Trail Runs

The Frio Trail Runs, held at Garner State Park in Concan, Texas, is a challenging trail running event featuring distances from 5K up to 50K, including a 10K RUCK option. The course consists of rocky, dirt-packed single-track trails with significant elevation gain—about 1,550 feet per 6-mile loop—highlighted by a climb up Old Baldy Mountain, offering stunning summit views. The event tests endurance and strength across hilly terrain with over 7,000 feet of elevation gain for the 50K.
