Event details
The FROZEN 4 Mile Run & 2 Mile Walk takes place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Ephram White Park, 885 Mt. Olivet Road, Bowling Green, KY 42101. The event is the second race of the Winter Sprinter Series. It includes these distances:
- 2 Mile Walk (walkers only)
- 4 Mile Run (runners or walkers welcome)
Entry fees are listed as $45 for each event. The price increases after December 10, 2025. All proceeds will go to a local student athlete in need of financial assistance for medical bills; the 2026 recipient will be announced in November.
Logistics and awards
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the event at Runners' Lounge, 730 Fairview Avenue A2, and on race day at Ephram White Park; packets will not be handed out after the designated pickup period. Online registration closes on race day; there is no walk-up race day registration. To guarantee a choice of a crewneck sweatshirt or hoodie at packet pickup, registration should be completed by December 15.
Awards for the 4 Mile Run include overall top three male and female, masters (40-49), grandmasters (50-59), senior grandmasters (60+), and top three male and female in standard age groups from 8 & under through 75 & over. The 2 Mile Walk awards overall male and female and the top five male and top five female. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
