Course and race logistics
The course consists of two loops with one hill on each loop. The route includes roots and small branches, so runners should be cautious. Packet pickup and race operations are located near an outdoor shelter. All runners receive a one-size-fits-all winter hat and gloves. Timing is done using a manual method: participants receive a popsicle stick when they finish and must turn the stick in to register their time. There will be no formal awards ceremony; overall winners and top three in each age group receive medals after turning in their stick. Snacks, water, and Powerade are available at the outdoor shelter after the finish. Old race shirts and hats are offered for sale for $5.
