Frozen Yeti
The Frozen Yeti is the first race in the Winter Wild Thangs Trail Series, held at Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, Alabama. Scheduled for December 20, 2025, it offers 5-mile and 10-mile trail race options. The course features scenic mountain views, creek crossings, and waterfalls, providing a challenging yet beautiful running experience.
Aid stations along the route supply water, Gatorade, snacks, and energy gels. The event promotes sustainability as a "cupless race," requiring runners to bring reusable hydration gear. Participants receive a tri-blend race shirt and finisher award, with post-race pizza provided by sponsor Marco's Pizza.
