About the race
Fur Fest 5k in Tallahassee, Florida is a dog-friendly charity run benefiting Tallahassee Big Dog Rescue. The course is flat and shaded, about half paved trail and half dirt trail, starting and finishing at J. Lewis Hall Sr.

Well-behaved dogs on non-retractable leashes can run with their human companions, while humans without dogs are welcome too. The event features awards for the fastest male dog and fastest female dog, and supports a local rescue cause. Registration is open for the 2025 race.
