Event details
The FWBHS Viking 5K is a community run/walk held in Fort Walton Beach, FL on November 1, 2025. The event supports the Fort Walton Beach High School football team and will include a post-race picnic with donuts, bagels, and fruit. PT Solutions will provide post-race screenings. There will also be a prize drawing; winners do not have to be present to win. The event will run rain or shine, and there are no refunds.
Registration, packet pickup and awards
Early registration fees are $25 until September 8, 2025; $30 after September 9; and $35 on race day. NWFTC members receive a $2 discount and preregistered students receive a $5 discount. T-shirts are guaranteed only to entrants registered by October 15, 2025.
Packet pickup and preregistration are available on October 30, 2025 at RUN WITH IT, 21 Racetrack Rd NE, Fort Walton Beach, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Race day packet pickup and registration will be at Fort Walton Beach High School’s new multipurpose building; on-site pickup is available until 7:15 am on race day. Awards are given three deep in runner age groups and include overall male and female, masters, and grandmasters. Walkers have overall awards and second and third place awards for male and female.
