The event takes place on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area - Sun Valley Picnic Area (4200 La Cienega Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90008). Distances offered:
- 5k
- 10k - two 5k loops
- 15k - three 5k loops
- Half marathon - three 4.36 mile out-and-back loops
Registration is available through Active.com or PayPal. PayPal registrations receive an email within 12 hours to finalize. Published entry fees vary by period: early bird, a race-month price window (Nov 14 - Dec 13), and higher race day fees. Race day payments may include cash, credit card, Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal.
Course and services
The course is an open, marked out-and-back loop on park trails. Surfaces include dirt, some grass, and pavement, and the route includes a steep hill about 0.25 miles long. An aid station at the turnaround/start-finish area supplies water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit. Parking inside Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area has a $10 per vehicle fee. Included with registration are custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos and videos, posted results within 12-24 hours, and an assortment of snacks and samples.
