The marathon course starts near the Luck Fire Department and uses out-and-back legs with turnarounds near Milltown and Frederic; the start and finish are at the same point on the trail. The half marathon is an out-and-back to a turnaround just past Frederic and finishes on Main Street in Luck. The 4-person relay follows the marathon route with exchanges near Milltown, at the start/finish, and at the Frederic turnaround. The 5k is an out-and-back with one aid station; the kids run is about a half mile south of 3rd Avenue to Butternut Avenue. The marathon has a 6-hour time limit. The course is USATF certified (WI14032DM for 2023; WI23001MAB for 2024) and listed as a Boston qualifier. Official chip timing is provided by Duluth Timing & Events. Aid stations supply water, Gatorade, and food. The course is not fully closed to traffic. Dogs and strollers are not permitted on course.
