The Gate River Run takes place on March 7, 2026 at 301 A Philip Randolph Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida. The event list includes a 15K, a 5K for Charity, the Brooks Rehabilitation Challenge Mile, the Junior River Run and the Diaper Dash. Entries, fees and 15K wave system
Registration is open. Fees start at $55 for the 15K and $40 for the 5K, plus processing fees; a $5 discount applies automatically for ages 19 and under and for ages 65 and older. The event offers club and team competition with a minimum of four scoring members per team. A partnership with the Jacksonville Jaguars offers participants the option to purchase select game tickets at a stated rate of $25 per ticket, up to 20 tickets per participant.
The 15K uses a four-wave start. Wave 1 requires a submitted qualifying time and places runners into one of seven colored zones; qualifying times must be from a race run between June 1, 2024 and the date of registration. Wave 1 is for runners with expected finishes under 1 hour 30 minutes and a pace faster than 10:00 per mile; no walkers are allowed. Waves 2 and 3 do not require proof and cover progressively slower expected finish ranges and paces; walkers should register in Wave 4, which is for expected finishes over 2 hours 40 minutes.
