2026 GCR Firecracker 5K
The 2026 GCR Firecracker 5K takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in Naples, FL 34102. The course is a double loop through Lake Park. The race start location is by the water treatment plant on 10th St. N. The event includes a T-shirt at packet pick-up and a finisher medal.
A kids race will take place on a 1/2 mile loop that starts and ends at the 5K finish line balloon; no sign up is necessary. The event also includes the GCR Freedom Swim at Lowdermilk Park. Age group awards are given five deep. Proceeds will go to the Gulf Coast Runners Youth Development Fund.
Registration and logistics
Entry fees are listed as $35 through July 3 and $40 on race day. Student entry is $20 through July 3 and $25 on race day. The price increases after July 3 at 11:59pm EDT.
Packet pick-up is available on July 3 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Naples on the Run. Day-of packet pick-up is available in Fleischmann Park beginning early on July 4.
