The GCR Thanksgiving race day in Naples, Florida includes multiple race options on November 27, 2025. Distances offered:
- 5K - Run/Walk
- 1 Mile - Walk
- Kids 1K
- Kids 100 Yard Dash
Kids 1K is open to ages 1 to 18. The Kids 100 Yard Dash is open to ages 1 to 9. The paid 5K and 1 Mile Walk have set entry fees and the price increases after October 31, 2025. Kids races are free but do not include a shirt. Medals are given to children, likely from a past race.
Logistics and race services
The course starts on 5th Avenue and runs through downtown Naples, staged from Cambier Park. The event address is 755 8th Ave S., Naples, FL 34102. Pre-race packet pick up is available Tuesday 11/25 and Wednesday 11/26 at Naples on the Run, 20 10th St. S., from 10AM to 5PM. Race day packet pick up is available beginning at 6:00am only until 7:25am; there is no day-of registration. Plenty of free parking is available, with multiple four-story parking garages within 200 m of packet pickup. Shirts are provided to all paid participants. Race medals are provided to all finishers and age-group awards are five deep. The course is open for 90 minutes. The event benefits St. Matthew's House and the Youth Development/Scholarship Fund and will collect non-perishable food donations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
