Gene Bednarowski Memorial Run

The Gene Bednarowski Memorial Run, held in Watervliet, Michigan, is a community-focused event honoring a local mentor and coach. Scheduled for the Saturday of the 4th of July weekend, it features a 5K Run/Walk, a 1 Mile Fun Run for youth, and a Virtual 5K option. The scenic course winds through neighborhood streets and along Paw Paw Lake, avoiding major highways.

Awards are given to overall and age group winners, with age divisions spanning from under 10 to 70+. Participants receive t-shirts, and proceeds support the Watervliet Track and Field Program.
