Geyser Growl Half Marathon
The Geyser Growl Half Marathon, presented by Hillman Beer, is a scenic fall race held in North Carolina, starting at Lake Tomahawk Park in Black Mountain and finishing in Old Fort. The 13.1-mile course passes the historic Andrews Geyser and features a mix of paved and dirt roads with a notable downhill section after Ridgecrest Conference Center. The event offers six aid stations and is USATF certified.
Post-race festivities include hot soup and a complimentary Hillman beer for runners over 21. Limited to 500 participants, the race has grown rapidly in popularity and provides shuttle services between start and finish areas. Awards are given for overall, masters, and age group categories.
