Gig Harbor Turkey Trot

The Holmes Chiropractic Care Gig Harbor Turkey Trot is a popular 5K run/walk held annually on Thanksgiving morning in Gig Harbor, Washington. Established in 2002, this family-friendly event has grown into a community tradition attracting participants from near and far. The course runs around the harbor, with walkers and stroller users starting near the back.

The race uses RFID chip timing for accurate results. Participants are encouraged to bring two cans of food to donate, benefiting local organizations like Backpack for Kids and FISH Food Bank. Proceeds also support scholarships for high school seniors.
