The Girls on the Run 5K Somerville Presented by The Waldele Family Foundation is scheduled for Sunday, November 23, 2025 in Somerville, NJ. The event is a 5K run that marks Girls on the Run of Central NJ's 24th year of operation. The course starts at Grove and E. High Street. Organizers run a SoleMates program whose proceeds support a scholarship fund for girls in low income areas.
Registration and race details
Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Early registration through October 24 is $30; October 25 through November 7 is $35; November 8 through November 19 is $40; race day registration is $45. Organizers suggest a $24 donation at registration to support the scholarship fund. Timing is by chip through Tristate Timing. There are water stops on the course and at the finish. Packet pick-up and on-site registration take place on the Somerset County Courthouse lawn. Pre-registered participants receive a T-shirt while supplies last and post-race refreshments are provided for runners. A course map is provided by the organizers.
