The 11th annual Give 'Em the Bird 5K Run / 2K Walk is scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Millside Park, 2 Ferry St, Easthampton, MA 01027. Registration closes November 27, 2025.

Course and event information
The event benefits the Easthampton Community Center. Funds from past events have supported holiday meals for local families; last year the event raised $35,000. The event is held rain or shine.
The 5K course is described as a flat to rolling route past the mills and fields of Easthampton, starting and finishing at Millside Park. About half the course is on a rail trail closed to traffic and half is on rural roads that remain open to traffic. There is one aid station near mile 2. The 2K walk starts and finishes at Millside Park, heads south on the bike path toward Union Street, and turns around before Union Street. Entry fees listed on the event page are $30 for the 5K, $25 for the 2K walk, and $30 for the virtual option. If an event shirt is requested, sign-up must occur by November 3, 2025.
