Global 5K

Global 5K is a 5-kilometer race held in Watkinsville, Georgia, scheduled for October 5, 2025. The course runs entirely inside Oconee Veterans Park on a paved run/walk trail (3500 Hog Mountain Road). Proceeds benefit Global Samaritans to build wells in Zambia, helping provide clean drinking water for a medical clinic.

The event includes a Global 5K Run/Walk and a Phantom Runner option, with T-shirts available for early registrants. It’s part of the Black Bag Race Series, with finish-line timing by Classic Race Services. Awards are given for Overall and Masters winners along with standard age-group categories.
