Event overview
The 5th annual Glühwein Gallop is scheduled for Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Carmel Christkindlmarkt on Carter Green in Carmel, IN. The main event is a 5K Run/Walk held as part of the Christkindlmarkt festivities. The course passes the Palladium, goes through the Carmel Arts & Design District, runs past the shops on Main Street, follows the Monon Trail, and finishes back at the market. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Awards are given for overall and age-group finishers, and a costume contest is included.
Logistics and extras
General registration for the 5K is listed at $34; a volunteer registration option is available at no cost. Commemorative Glühwein mugs are available for purchase during registration for $8 and can be picked up at packet pickup. Packet pickup is offered on the day before the event at Runners Forum - Carmel (620 Station Drive) and on the event day at the Christkindlmarkt. The event is open to all ages. The organizer offers a referral refund program that awards $5 back for every two people who register using a participant's referral link, up to the original registration amount.
