About the race
The Goblin Valley Trail Runs, held in Green River, Utah, offers a unique trail running experience through a landscape filled with thousands of hoodoos, known as Goblins—mushroom-shaped rock formations. The event features multiple race distances including a Trail Marathon, Marathon Relay, Half Marathon, Half Marathon Relay, 10k, 5k, and a 1-mile youth fun run. Courses wind through single-track trails with stunning desert views and protected natural scenery.
The event also includes a Gravel Ride with distances of 111k, 72k, and 56k. Participants receive custom finisher medals, shirts, and reusable cups. The race emphasizes sustainability with a cup-less format and provides aid stations with varied nutrition.
