Grayslake Central Turkey Trot
The Grayslake Central Turkey Trot takes place on Sunday, November 16, 2025, in Grayslake, IL at Grayslake Central High School (400 N Lake St, Grayslake, IL 60030). The event is a 5K run/walk that starts and ends on the Grayslake Central High School track. Proceeds support the high school athletic program’s financial needs.
Registration, packet pickup and awards
Standard entry prices shown are $45 with age-based rates: $30 for ages 0-14, $35 for ages 15-18, and $35 for ages 60-150; the listed price increases after November 13, 2025. Registrants receive a drawstring bag. Registrants are advised to register early for preferred shirt sizes; shirt size is not guaranteed after October 17.
Packet pickup takes place in the school Field House: the first pickup is the Saturday before the race from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., and a second pickup and race day registration begin on race day at 7:30 a.m. Late registration is available on both Saturday and Sunday. Parking is available in the main lot north of the school on Hillside Avenue; visitors are directed to turn west on Hillside Avenue and use the northwest lot. Awards include trophies for the top three overall male and female finishers and medals for first through third place in each age group category.
