Great Allegany Run

Great Allegany Run, held in Cumberland, Maryland, offers a fast, scenic pair of races: a flat 15K from Mt. Savage to downtown Cumberland and a 5K out-and-back from downtown. The 15K is point-to-point with a roughly 475-foot elevation drop in the first 10K, delivering a downhill run through the Narrows into historic Cumberland as fall foliage peaks.

The 5K loops out and back from downtown. Both races finish with an after-party featuring food, music, prizes and beer. Proceeds benefit Allegany County Habitat for Humanity.

15K runners are shuttled to the Mt. Savage start, and bags are transported to the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
