Great Turkey Chase 5K : Event overview
The Great Turkey Chase 5K takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Elizabethtown, PA. The event is the 8th annual run and benefits ECHOS; a portion of registration fees and 100% of online donations will support that organization. The 5K is a loop that starts and ends at Elizabethtown Brethren in Christ (EBIC), 996 East High Street, and runs through the streets of Elizabethtown.

Logistics and additional information
The kids run has no entry fee; there is an option to purchase a t-shirt. T-shirts are provided to 5K participants who sign up by November 5. All 5K finishers receive a finisher's medal. Age-group awards are given in ten-year groups, plus overall finisher awards.
Registration is available online for the 5K through November 26, 2025, and for the kids run through November 27, 2025; in-person day-of registration is available at EBIC. Parking at EBIC is limited; overflow is available at Bear Creek School, East High Elementary School, a small fairgrounds lot, and on nearby streets. Do not park in the blocked area reserved for the kids run or on grassy church areas. Dogs are not allowed on the race course. The event has a no-refund policy. Contests include a family gathering contest with a prize pack and a costume contest for 5K participants with photo submission on the event Facebook page; costume winners will be announced by December 1, 2025.
