Event overview
The Greater St. Louis Marathon takes place in Downtown St. Louis on April 11, 2026. The weekend includes multiple race distances, an Expo and packet pickup on April 9 and April 10, a National Running Club Championships & Rally, and a post-race festival with live music and local food. The course map is available but subject to change.

Age requirements: marathon entrants must be 18 or older; half marathon entrants must be 14 or older; 10K entrants 12 or older; 5K entrants 6 or older; the 1-mile family run is open to all ages. Walkers are allowed and an Early Start option exists for walkers who expect to finish the full marathon between 6 and 7.5 hours or the half between 3 hours 15 minutes and 4 hours 15 minutes; proof of prior finish time is required for eligibility. Transfers are not permitted. No refunds are offered. Half and full marathon participants may defer entry for medical reasons with documentation for 50% of the entry fee under specified conditions.
Weekend services and amenities
Registration includes a premium event shirt, a finisher medal, water and Gatorade stations, energy gel stations on half and full courses, gear check (for specified distances), medical stations, massage therapy, individual race photos, and a post-race party. A VIP package is available (participant and spectator tiers with reserved parking and hospitality). A WashU Hospitality Hub will operate at Aloe Plaza offering hydration, light refreshments, and pre/post-race stretching. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
