About the race
Green Monster Trail Challenge in Wellsboro, PA, in the Tioga State Forest north of PA Grand Canyon, offers 15K, 25K and 50K options for runners and hikers. The course features rolling single-track, steep ascents, numerous stream crossings and technical descents through rugged mountain terrain. Elevation gain is about 1,700 ft for 15K, 4,000 ft for 25K, and 7,800 ft for the 50K.
The event combines challenging trails with a festive atmosphere: well-maintained aid stations, a post-race feast, music, finisher medals, and sponsor swag.
