Race features and course
All participants receive a short sleeve event shirt, a finisher medal, and access to free race photos. The event uses chip timing, provides three well supported aid stations, and offers post-run food and drinks. Relay-specific items include a special anchor badge for runners on the last leg. The Open Division awards total $1,500 in cash prizes, with awards for top teams in each division and top three male and female finishers in the 8K.
The course is a loop that includes fireroad and some paved sections. Participant comments describe a 1.7 mile climb on the loop, followed by flat and winding sections and a mostly downhill run to the finish. The event features on-site DJs and music, multiple food trucks, vendors, and an Athlete’s Village with a tailgate atmosphere.
