About the race
Grin & Bear It 5K | 10K | 1/2 Mile Kids Run & NEW! 1/2 Marathon takes place in Delhi, Louisiana at Poverty Point Reservoir. The event offers four distances: 5K (3.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles), a half marathon (13.1 miles), and a 1/2 mile Kids Fun Run for ages 1–10. The course is described as a beautiful scenic run with chip-timed starts and finishes (no mid-course splits).
After the race, a post-race party with refreshments, music, and an awards ceremony awaits. Proceeds benefit Delhi Hospital & Clinics' Community Outreach. Kids under 10 run the 1/2 mile for free; shirts and medals are awarded. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
