Groton Forest Trail Run

The Groton Forest Trail Run, held in Groton, Vermont at Boulder Beach State Park, offers scenic and challenging trail races. In 2025, the event features two distances: a 15-mile race and a 6.2-mile race. The race is known for its beautiful forested course and strong community atmosphere.

Recently taken over by Onion River Outdoors, a Montpelier-based gear shop and event organizer, the run continues its tradition of fun and excellent racing. While the marathon distance is paused this year, the 25k and 10k races are offered, with plans to bring back the marathon in the future.
