Groundhog Run
The Groundhog Run 2026, held in Kansas City, MO, is the 44th annual event benefiting children with disabilities through Ability KC. This unique race offers multiple options including 5K, 10K, and a combined Tunnel-to-Tunnel (5K + 10K) run, as well as a Kids Run and virtual race options. The course is entirely underground in Hunt Midwest’s SubTropolis, featuring paved streets and a consistent temperature of 65 to 68 degrees, providing an ideal winter running environment shielded from weather elements.
