Groundhog's Lap Race

Groundhog's Lap Race is a challenging endurance running event held at Haw River State Park Iron Ore Belt Access in Greensboro, North Carolina. Scheduled for January 31, 2026, the race features a 3.25-mile single-track trail loop called the Great Blue Heron Loop. Participants can choose to run for 3, 6, or 12 hours, testing their stamina and mental toughness by completing as many laps as possible within their chosen time.
