The event takes place in Laredo, TX on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Hamilton Trophies. Distances offered:
- 10K
- 1 Mile Walk
The course layout will be explained on race day and will have cones set up along the route. Strollers are allowed but should start at the back of the field. Pets are not allowed on the course; exceptions for service animals are considered case by case. Free parking is available at the LISD Shierly Field parking lot. Packet pickup details are to be announced.
Entry, timing, awards and policies
Registration fees listed are: 10K Runner $25, 1 Mile Walker $25, Student (18 & under) $15, and event-day registration $30 for all participants. The first 150 registered participants receive an event shirt and gift bag; shirt sizes are not guaranteed. All participants receive a finisher medal. The 10K run is chip timed by Swift Timing and bibs will include disposable timing chips at packet pickup. The walk is not chip timed and walkers receive a non-chip number. Overall and age-group awards are given for the run; trophies are awarded to the top three finishers in each age category. Scholarships are available to eligible high school juniors and seniors who have participated in this event. No refunds or transfers of registrations are allowed.
