Guess Your Time Race

Guess Your Time 2.5 Mile Race is a Taconic members–only event held in Yorktown Heights, NY (10598) at FDR Park, State Road, Parking Lot Six. The free race offers Taconic shirts and pint glasses for giveaways while supplies last. Runners guess their target pace, then cover about 2.5 miles; the closest guess wins.

The race uses chip timing with net-time scoring. After the run, participants join a Taconic club meeting with food and drinks. A notable quirk: no electronics are allowed—GPS devices or smartphones are discouraged—keeping the focus on traditional running.
