Gulch Countdown

Website Registration

The Gulch Countdown is a unique trail running event held in the scenic Japanese Gulch forests of Mukilteo, Washington. The race features a 2.18-mile loop through lush terrain with ferns, moss-covered trees, and giant cedars, offering a mountain-like experience close to home. It is a "Last Person Standing" style race where runners complete multiple loops with progressively shorter time cutoffs, starting with a 32-minute limit and decreasing each lap.

The event welcomes all ability levels, blending social pacing with a competitive challenge. Full aid stations are provided, and proceeds support trail improvements. Special recognition is given for the fastest lap times. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
