Hair of the Bear 15K & 5K : Shawnee On Delaware, PA (March 29, 2026)
The Hair of the Bear 15K & 5K is scheduled for Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Shawnee Inn in Shawnee On Delaware, Pennsylvania. The event is presented by ShawneeCraft Brewing Company and takes place on resort property in the Pocono Mountains.

Course, timing, awards and amenities
The 5K course runs on the Shawnee Inn property and neighboring roads and finishes at ShawneeCraft Brewery. The 15K starts and finishes at the brewery and includes about 5 miles on the McDade Trail along the Delaware River. The 15K includes approximately 4 miles of paved roads; the 5K is about 90% paved. Races are professionally chip-timed, with water stations and course marshals at key locations.
Finishers receive a brunch buffet and a custom finisher medal. One complimentary ShawneeCraft beer is provided to participants over 21; soda is available for younger participants. The event also offers custom shirts (adult, women's and youth), a custom beer glass, free downloadable race photos, and awards for top three overall plus male and female age-group winners (14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, then every 10 years). Packet pick-up is at ShawneeCraft brewery on race day. The race is rain or shine and there are no refunds or deferrals. Spectators are welcome.
