Event overview
The New Year race takes place on January 3, 2026, in Ocala, Florida at Baseline Road Trailhead (4255 SE 58th Ave, Ocala, FL 34472). The event offers four distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Marathon (26.2 miles)
All participants must register online via RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The organizer is US Road Running. A social and awards ceremony will be held at Twin Oaks Mansion in Silver Springs, FL. A race shirt is included and finisher medals are provided.
Course and logistics
The course is paved and uses out-and-back loops. The 5K/10K loop covers about 3.11 miles; the 5K is one lap and the 10K is two laps. The half marathon and marathon use a roughly 3.275-mile out-and-back loop; the half repeats it four times and the marathon repeats it eight times. There is a six-hour course time limit.
