Event overview
The Medal Madness race takes place on January 17, 2026, at Gemini Springs Park in DeBary, Florida. The event offers the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
Course and logistics
All courses are on concrete surfaces and use out-and-back layouts. The 5K and 10K share the same out-and-back route; the 5K completes the out-and-back once and the 10K completes it twice. The Half Marathon uses a longer out-and-back segment repeated four times. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Finisher medals, event shirts and gear, awards, and series points are noted as part of the event program.
All runners must register via RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Enter Gemini Springs Park from Dirksen Drive and turn right at the first stop sign to use the West Parking loop. The check-in and bib pick-up area and the start/finish are at the O.K. Corral shelter. If West Parking is full, follow park signs for East Parking. Restrooms are located beyond the playground on the opposite side of West Parking. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
