About the race
US Road Running presents Medal Madness at James D. Martin Park in Gadsden, Alabama. The event offers five distances—1 mile, 5K, 10K, 15K, and a half marathon—run on a pea gravel trail.
The 5K, 10K, and 15K are out-and-back courses (5K once, 10K twice, 15K three times); the half marathon is an out-and-back completed four times. GPS may route you to a small building on Old S 4 Street, just behind the Gadsden Mall. The day features finisher medals and a Best Costume contest, along with additional awards and series points, all contributing to a welcoming, trail-running atmosphere.
