US Road Running - Concord

Medal Madness 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon takes place at Vietnam Veterans Park in Concord, NC, located at 760 Orphanage Rd. The event offers three distances: a 5K, a 10K, and a half marathon. The courses are out-and-back: the 5K is one loop, the 10K doubles the loop, and the half marathon repeats the loop four times.

The route is paved with a gravel/dirt stretch and runs through a shaded course starting from the Dogwood Shelter; bathrooms are in the parking lot. Finisher medals are themed, costumes are encouraged with a group photo and best-costume prize. It earns points toward the US Road Running Series.
